Jessica Parker Moss:
Hello! My name is Jessica Moss. I am from Blacksburg, SC. I am excited to be your 2022-2024 SC RID Secretary. I graduated from Clemson University in 2016, where I majored in Modern Languages with an emphasis in American Sign Language as well as completed their K-12 Interpreting Program. I am now a Nationally Certified Interpreter and have worked in various settings. This is not my first time on the Board. I was SC RID Member at Large Student Liaison 2016-2018, and SC RID Secretary 2018-2020. I stepped away from a Board position for this past term to focus on obtaining my National Certification and to better establish myself as a Freelance Interpreter. It also gave me the time to spend with my lovely husband of five years and our daughter Raelynn who is three. Now I am ready to roll up my sleeves and get back to work with the SC RID Board to help provide professional development, community events, and networking opportunities for the interpreters in South Carolina, to grow individually, professionally, and as a community.
