WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION

This two-part book discussion will explore John Howard Griffins book Black Like Me. Participants will engage in authentic conversations as a group in a safe space to discuss the author's experiences as a black man and how to tie his findings to current topics in the field of interpreting today related to DEI.

AUDIENCE

Interpreters with limited knowledge of the Black Experience.
